Here's a new piece I'm working on. It's still in the early stages but I'm very happy with it so far. Making the time for the studio is so important but so easy to let slide--don't let it. Schedule your priorities rather than prioritize your schedule.
I feel that science, religion and philosophy are all searching for answers to the same questions-- and that we tend to separate ourselves, unnecessarily, by our choice of path to the answers. I believe that art is the best and easiest way to merge the paths and connect us all again and my works are attempts at making those connections.Being connected is not only the only way we'll ever get any answers to our burning questions---it may be the answer all by itself.

Recent Work From Life Drawing Sessions
It has been truly wonderful to get back to a regular habit of life drawing. Until recently, most of the local groups met at times or in locations that just weren't convenient for me. Luckily, my good pal, Derek Gundy, over at Artist's Edge in Poulsbo started a group that meets on Thursday evenings and I've been going fairly regularly and even facilitating many of the sessions. I can definitely feel the positive impact that this regular practice is having on all of my work.
Artist's Edge has tons of other great classes and workshops as well so make sure to check out their site and find the one that works for you! They are at: http://www.artistsedge.com/classes.html
Here are some recent samples of my work from the Thursday Life Drawing Sessions. We are really lucky to have such great models every week!
